This female Elephant charged our Land Rover in order to protect her young calf. We had stopped to take photographs, but she quickly became agitated and angered by our presence. After a couple of mock charges she charged for real. It was a scary few moments.<br>

Rachel McRobb was in Septmeber 2003 running Kakuli Bush Camp for Norman Carr Safaris. She also runs a small anti poaching unit known as Ratz. Rachel has sought funding from the EIA and has had a great deal of success in her campaign for support in the effort to save the Wildlife of South Luangwa.
